Wedge blades and theory

I am curious I have seen two types of wedge blade style razor on ebay and the internet and here.

both are essential short sections of straight razor, however one is ground and sharpened like a regular straight, and the other isn't.

the other has me confused as I have seen two types of handle/head attachments.

one is like any other regular SE razor while the other seems to be nothing more then a handle with a small spring clip to attach it to the blade section.

And I have thought about purchasing a certain wedge razor set on ebay, its mint condition but has no blades with it. because it looks deceitfully easy as if a cheap carbon steel straight razor easily found on ebay could be turned into replacement blades.

am I nuts?

The One above is a Hollow Ground Blade...The One Below is a Stropping SE Blade..There is No Confusion..Two Different Animals..The Stropping Handles look the same at 1st Glance but they Don't Fit One & Another..You Need the Proper Handle of Each Blade..The Handle for the SE Stropping Blades are Hard to Find..
