Thanks for the warm welcome and advice. I have already noticed an addiction to kit already. I fancy a Merkur and a butterfly mech. Luckily, I need enough kit to leave at the GF's, not as if excuses are needed, then there's kit to take camping....

Since DE and straight shaving I have never spent more!! Buy something new every week whether its a new cream, soap, balm, aftershave, blades to try etc.. ADDICT anyone?!?

However, do I regret any of it? No! How can you put a price on changing a hated ritual into a much loved hobby (and curing the constant razor rash I always had).
