Vintage soaps

Hi all,

I've got a puck of Williams shaving soap. Have people used this? Is it ok to use given its age?

All the vintage soaps I've used have been fine but usually lack in the scent department which degrades over the years.

Hi there,

I personally haven't tried any really old Williams, but from what I've read it's gonna be better than what's currently being made. Yeah, it should be good to use, even though the scent may be about gone as Tony mentioned.

I have 3-4 vintage soaps in my rotation, with some of em being among my favorite soaps out of everything else I've tried over the years. Heh, I've also tried other old ones that weren't very good.....probably to begin with.
