Two band ?

I've been searching on the net, but with no luck.

So now I'll ask you guys: What does it mean that a shaving brush is two band ?

Only two shades clearly visible, dark then light. Three bands are light, dark, light - simple as that. Two band brushes are made from the stiffer and longer badger hair that has longer streaks of dark hair. So they usually have good backbone while still having soft tips.
