Is it ok to use for touching up or have i wasted my money kev :D

I've been looking at these as well Kev but not sure wether to take the plunge or not.

Let us know how you get on with it.

'Lap and chamfer the edges'. Man this straight shaving lark gets more complicted every day. No wonder so many men had beards years ago.

I've got two, one I bought from open_razor. Both came lapped & chamfered. The slurry stone does speed things up quite a bit, and improves feedback. Finish up with just water, or dry.

Some chromium oxide on a piece of basla wood is also very handy.

Happy now

They don't take up much water, I give mine a couple of minutes bathe but in all honesty I think that just pouring some on prior to use would do the job.
