Just out of curiosity, has αnyone read the "The guv'nor" (Lenny McLean) ?

I saw him in Stock lock and 2 smoking barrels and had no idea who he was, I just loved the character and thought it was performed by an actor. Then, a long time after that I came across the show "bouncers" where I saw him.

I've not read the book but know of him and other people like Roy 'Pretty Boy' Shaw by reputation from people who knew both of them back in the day.

I'll have to get around to reading it at some stage.

I read it a good few years back. Helluva story, not exactly comfortable reading but crazy stuff. Worth a read.

I've read it. It's pretty amusing and horrific in equal measure. How much of it is true is another question I suppose!
