I worked for a company that used to carry out repairs for the local Police photographer.

He used to tell us all kinds of stuff when he called in, but he once told us a story about how a local Horse 'fiddler' was captured.

He said that they had received reports of a man wandering around a local riding school at night. He was carrying 2 buckets. If I tell you that the buckets did not contain feed, but were inverted, and used to stand on to increase height, I'll let you complete your own mental picture of what was going on.

I don't think that the word "inadvertently" appeared in HIS statement to the Police.

There was a bloke in Accrington* done a few years back for entertaining a cow  . Apparently the court heard how he had previously been caught doing the same thing in the past - with the same cow   .

I remember how the farmer was trying to get compensation by saying that the cow was so traumatised it had stopped producing milk - the chancer :)
