Souplex and Croma razor blades

Has anyone used Souplex, or Croma razor blades?

I used a Croma once. Took days for my face to recover. Carnage :icon_razz:

Just about to try a Souplex. Will report back later. Didn't think much of Croma.

Ok then. Just finished first go with souplex blade in my standard test rig de87 soc 2 band and arko face lathered. Blade didn't feel anything special really. Sharper than average. Averagely smooth. I'm happy to use them up but on first impressions I won't be buying in bulk. Too expensive for what you get in my opinion.

I've not tried souplex blades but the croma blades didn't suit me. I found them very rough blades. Promptly binned!

I don't mind Cromas so much. Unlike most blades out there, they're "uncoated", whatever that means, so they do feel a bit different and I can see why they're not for everyone. Like a lot of German blades, they're pretty expensive for what they are and the Egyptian and Russian-made blades unsurprisingly offer better value.

Second shave with the souplex and my opinion is unchanged. Not worth the money for me.
