"Skin food"

Is the "skin food" some sort of AS balm ?

Have been reading about it but have no idea how it is applied ... p.e. rinse after the save with cold water and then apply it (and if so leave it there to sink in or have to wash it off after a while) ?

I guess this could also be posted in the "naive questions thread" ... :blush:
 
I use the Geo F Trumper Lime extract skin food as a Balm, after your shave just put a bit on and rub it into your skin in small circular motions,it dries and leaves your face protected, no need to wash off,you can apply moisturiser after if you think your skin is still dry,there's no strong smell so it doesn't interfere with any cologne or a/s you want to wear,they also do a sandalwood version as well
 
I got some for a birthday present and have used it pre and post shave. It left my face very dry and to be honest, seeing as there is no residual scent I couldn't really see the point in it. Proraso does a far better job for me. YMMV
