Rubberset 400 question.

So, I'm restoring a 400, I've taken care of some heavy duty surface corrosion, but now I'm hitting some ally casting bubbles.

Two questions, are all these handles badly cast?

Secondly, seeing as they are so badly made, would anyone be willing to sell their badly made, cheap handles to me.....

Greg, I've restored about 6 and never come across the problem you describe. One little trick I discovered in trying to separate the body and head is to soak in a solution containing de-scaler. WD40 is useful but does not penetrate enough is there is limescale build up.
