There are a good few of us who have - if the blade is clean, rust-free and not nicked then hone and strop it up, and get it used!
The angle should be found by starting with the blade flat against your face and then angling the spine away from your face to about 30 degrees. Think of it as an inch of straight razor on a stick

Can get a half decent shave from them, but not the closest. The problem is trying to get a usable edge on the blades.Probably best to try a few DE shaves before launching in to the Rolls, it takes a bit of getting used to if you go straight from cartridge shaving.

I have two, shave is about ok but not close as you get from a cart or DE, I keep mine for the shave apocalypse! !

I got few Rolls Razor, and with one blade I took the safety bar off and honed it on coticule and 12K naniwa, it was passing hht. but still couldn't get a close shave compared to my straights, and moustache and chin area is a bugger to shave with rolls.
