I have a blue beards revenge shavette with wilkinson sword blades, which I rotate with my straights. I was wondering if there was any difference between shavettes and if so, if any are being passed around?
 
Use it, abuse it (within reason of course) and pass it on after a week or 2 depending on experience with it or practice needed. It's got the blades to get you started, Proguards so nothing that's going to slice your head off. You should find it a whole world of difference between this a that shavette.
 
World of difference in a good or bad way? I'm proficient with my straights and get a good WTG with the shavette, but no longer try ATG as I always got cut
 
Very much akin to a straight but with the added sharpness of the shavette. No harsh edges to cut you and a nicer experience. I wouldn't even have a shavette in the house again, I do however have 6 Feather razors and sold all my straights because of them...
