Proraso Cut Gel

Hmm, not that impressed with this so far.

Yesterday I tried using it after shaving balm on a small nick I had and when it dried it left me with a kind of 'clear scab' that looked like a zit had burst then dried on my face.

Today I tried it before the balm and the GFT skin food then just rolled into little balls when I tried to apply it.

Clearly this is user error as so many people rave about it, so how do other folks use it? Any tips will be gratefully received!

Nope never used it as all I have heard are crap reviews where has all the people been raving about it. AS splash sorts out any little cuts I get.

i prefer a cut stick

you can pick then up cheap for £1 and they will last years

only think with them is they do stink.

most cut gel is just glue that your putting on your face

Cut stick is that like a styptic pencil or is it like a prison shank kind of thing maybe a tooth brush with a razor blade stuck in it.

I put a blob on the cut, let it dry to the 'white scab stage', then carefully rub off the scab after a while and then moisturise.
