Closed PASS AROUND - Myatt Minor razor modified for standard blades

After taking advantage of numerous passarounds I thought I'd offer one myself
I bought a myatt minor razor which came with original box and blades. It also had another incomplete razor with it missing the top part of the razor.

Myatt blades in a usable condition are rare all mine have rust spots and normal blades don't quite fit.

I found old posting about trimming blades to fit didn't fancy trying this!!!!!!!!

As I have a spare blade holder from the incomplete razor I decided to try grinding the pegs from hexagonal to round using my dremil and in 5 mins I now have amyatt minor razor which takes modern blades. I have still kept original bladeholder too.

Odd weight balance and distribution but it's loaded and ready to go come the morning.

First shave with it this morning.

Nice and mild head but has enough to shave close with no real drama.

2nd outing with the Myatt Minor.

Swapped over the skinny handle for a thicker, lighter Bakelite one for today's shave.

Wasn't sure if it's the keeness of the razor / blade combo or the soap? Face was a little tingly following the first pass. Couldve done with a 3Rd pass but opted to omit it.
