nintendo wii

Tennis and bowling are definitely worth a shot, should come free with it.

Watching two people boxing each other is also fun

Not taken with the wiifit board, I'd rather go for a cycle and then sit on my arse playing a proper game.

or you could getta a bicycle and pedal to keep you electricity going for a few hours!..its the only "green" way to go!... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-7iSmC4s5A

I love the Wii - modded mine about a year ago. It's a great family system - we can all join in and have fun. I play a lot of Call of Duty on mine. OK the graphics aren't comparable with the XBox 360 or PS3 but the control system is far superior to the controller pad IMHO. I have given up the constant PC upgrade 'arms race' and spend most of my 'game time' playing on the Wii.

I don't believe that there is currently a way of modding a Wii that has the latest system update installed.

Just bought a Wii so I'll let you know how I get on.

Is there a straight shaving trainer for it?

Now that would be good! Perhaps there is, I haven't looked in to all the software yet. Perhaps it is rather a niche idea, not quite as popular as tennis or football games I suppose.

OK I bought a Wii today from Currys. The main unit came with some sports games and controller, and there was a Wii Fit Plus and balance board included in the price. All for £205 which I think is a great deal. Just looked on the website and the two together come to over £260 so very good. Tesco do the same package without the sports games for £199.

Anyway, I expect you all to look forward to a leaner, fitter and stronger Pig Cat coming at you in 2011. :D Just think, I'll be able to write twice as much drivel as usual!!
