This is a blade from one of our Swedish friends that I thought was lost in the post so I used the scale material that I'd started on one of my own razors - which meant I had to start again. They are in black horn with copper liners and pins again.
This is a new batch of superior quality horn - still used for making spectacle frames - and it polishes very nicely just like a piano black finish.
