I'm pretty new to using both a straight razor and real shaving soap and I had received some Thiers-Issard travel soap with my first razor. So I used my soap with my first shaves and later bought a mug to help with the lathering. Now although the soap lathered pretty well, by the time I had applied it and shaved one side of my face the soap lather on the other side had gone. This happened time and time again so I decided to try a different brand of soap and as I'm a 'Mitchell' I decided to try Mitchell's Wool Fat Soap.
Well that's it, I'm sorted, It has a great lather which stays the course and some. It leaves my face feeling smooth and healthy and ready for Kiehl's ultimate after-shave balm & moisturizer. Job Done!
