Managing private message folders

It's taken me nearly all this time to figure it's perhaps best to set preferences to ensure old messages are automatically deleted when files are full. When approaching 100 I've been plodding through deleting the last 25 to create space.

Private messages - Rules, folders and settings. That's the place to do it.

Have I missed something though?

You can export your old messages, option on the bottom left of the messages page. There's a few option excel etc...

Found out about it just after I deleted a few hundred pm's on another board.

Quite handy.

You can just create more folders, each folder can hold 100 messages, I have one for the group buys, one for Pifs, BST, and even some members have their own folder. all nice and sorted.

you can have a maximum of four PM folders but this may change so be careful how much you hoard.
