Saw this just before Xmas and thought "That look's interesting" (It's a Bourbon infused with Black cherry flavour), then saw the price and promptly lost interest althogether.
It's on sale at Sainsburys for a much more reasonable £15.99, so bought some today.
Okay, its never going to compete with the likes of a single malt, but I quite like the twist on the taste. It's warm, charcoally with a fantastic black cherry smoothness running through it. Kind of reminds me of cherry coke syrup for soda stream mixed with whiskey (but more refined).
I've got to get my thinking cap on and see if I can incorporate this into food. Ham glaze perhaps, definately a christmas cake. Hmmmmm.
