I was checking a friends shop when I saw a James Turner's "the peerless razor" on his desk.
The condition is very similar (actually the edge is better) to the one shown in the attached picture , but the scales are in what i could describe as "faux Ivory"
I was wondering if it is worth restoring, I mean from the shaving point of view; I gave the friend a 10nner, but my interest is in the shaving, not the value.
