"Ignore" option

Hi

On another forum I'm part of there is an ignore button, this is used to block posts from specific members you'd rather not see. This is not for posts that require modding, just people whose posts you'd rather not see.

Coming to the site this morning, really makes me want one of those.

There is one Dan, if you click on someone's name it comes up amongst other things

What does the ignore button do? Does it hide any thread with a contribution from the person selected or just any updates from that person?

Never tried it although there's been many a time I've thought about it
I prefer though to keep seeing what some d**** write
