My mate has also just suggested Old Pulteney Navigator. He hasn't tried the Doublewood, but he rates Dalmore & Aberlour 18 YO, so may be worth a punt on a few miniatures.

I have a bottle of Aberlour 10 yo. Stunning Stuff. Also have a bottle of 16 yo stuff, can't remember the name. Glen something or other. Picked up in duty free in Vietnam on the way back from my honeymoon. Really good drop.
