Hi all.I am a member on other shaving sites but wanted to join here as it is UK based.I have used a straight for 30 years but I am quite new to honing. I would like to gain knowledge in this area so I can do it myself.I had a Gotta razor ruined by putting in into a hardware store where the guy promised that he knew what he was doing.He didn't.

I've never used a straight - but am very tempted to try - though I kind of fear random tics and shakes that may make it perilous.

Yeah.She's gone.Ground down to nothing on a grinding machine.I ended up giving her away.I managed to get a replacement from fleabay so I'm happy again.Cheers.
