Hello from Italy! First shave succesfully completed

Hi everyone and nice to chat with you all! I'm really enthusiastic to join this forum, most of all because I have just experienced a beautiful shave. I've never used the straight razor and I was hesitant about buying one. I read many threads about how to start with these kind of razors, the fear to make a mistake, the several cuts that I would have done on my face and so on. I decided to go through anyway making a small investment: so I bought a 9€ POOR quality razor just to give it a try. I used some gillete blades that my father had from years. I gotta say it's easier than everyone told me, I achieved very satisfying results without any damage..so really neat!
 
Thanks! it goes without saying that there is room for improvement (a large one). However I wanted to give a bit of bravery to those like me that get cold feet on this kind of shaving.
