Never heard of it till i moved to Yorkshire,bought some from butchers at weekend and bloody hell its good...A new one for me to add to favourites along with the mint sauce on mushy peas..

its just a kind of spiced meatloaf isn't it? I get it from the butchers sliced and use it for sandwiches.

Even as a Lancastrian, I'd not heard of it. Wiki tells me it's faggot like, but cold and sliced. Sounds quite nice. In the wild West of London, I'm unlikely to ever come across it I fear.

tescos sell it, have done for years, tried it at my nans about 20 years ago been eating it since, very yummy savoury stuff
