....when he was invited to be a pundit on ITV's World Cup coverage for the Uruguay v England game. He may have been there to be the 'whipping boy' for when England 'won' the game but shrewd Gus was still classy enough to think and talk with honesty and credence. The Sunderland manager just made me like him even more. Which concerns me as I support Newcastle!!! Top man.
 
........and now looking like a man who is drowning!! I felt for him after the 8-0 debacle at Southampton and hoped that the team would give him some cheer against Arsenal. No hammering granted, but those two goals were due to a team/players who's confidence is shattered. Now is where you earn your corn Gus.....and I honestly wish you all the best marra. I love watching and hearing his pre and post match comments. No matter what the result or situation is, he always gives interviews......and speaks from the heart.
