I am really interested in the history of Gillette razor blades. I acquired this pack of sealed blades which I think possibly date to the 1940's? on the back it says Made in Switzerland, I have found a similar pack on the Mr Razor website - but not exactly the same. Without opening the pack ( Which I will do to see the date code if I have to) can anyone give a date from the pack design, I think that the countries mentioned on the back of packs also changed at different times.
Also is there a website that gives any details of the factory in Switzerland? I just wondered if they also produced Gillette razors as well as the blades, as I have never seen a razor with made in Switzerland on it. Thanks for any help!
