First attempts at restoring straights

I've been cleaning up a few old blades in order to use them to practice honing. Obviously I've rushed through the grits a bit fast, so there are still some scratches left from earlier grits; still any pointers would be welcome.

First the before shots (from sellers pics):

Next, my dodgy mobile phone pics (sorry, don't have a decent camera)

Second attempt: I don't know much about this razor, so any info?
Also, the edge is not flat, so should I "breadknife" before trying to hone? (I haven't made much difference to this one).

I'm going to wait until I know what I'm doing with honing before trying this one, 'cos I rather like the blade and want it to be a keeper.

After: Cleaned up quite nicely I think, and the scales responded well to soaking in Neatsfoot oil and sanding down.
