Ever Ready Single Edged razor

Not tried the single edge razors yet. Just my Merkur 34C Double edge. Interested in buying a reasonable quality single edge vintage ever ready.
Anyone used these ?
What is the position with blades. Will modern SE blades fit ??
Any advice Aporeciated

Yes just bought one last week. You can can blades from Connaught, a pretty good razor only had 2 shaves so still getting used to it. Tricky to do under your nose.

Well the one i bought of MajorTom got it's first outing today:

first off - simple to fit the blade - i like it flip, place and snap back

the Noise.............. it's just plain crazy...... very weird sound - i like it

shave itself is great but i found i had to remove the blade to unclog the razor three times during the first pass

other than that - nice little addition to the rotation!
