I think that but who should take over?
No obvious candidates in the team at present unless you want to consider Broad or Bell.
Ian Bell does not seem the Captain type and Broad has injury concerns so it would be a difficult decision.
Maybe they should take a leaf out of South Africa's books when they appointed Graeme Smith and choose someone at the start of their career ie Joe Root.
