Egyptian oils.

While on hols in Egypt couple of years ago I bought some oils. Sandalwood etc. Not essential oils but a milder Egyptian oil. Would these be suitable to use as a pre shave oil? I've not tried a pre shave oil before.
 
Argan oil or Moroccan oil?? If its that, I tried it as a Pre and post shave. Works well on scraps and hot spots . Wasn't that good as a preshave . For me it was a little 'oily'.
I now only use it as an existing ingredient in a Italian hair shampoo.
 
I recently went to Thailand and bought their own mix of a massage/spa oil added, around 200ml to a base of sweet almond oil then added in some menthol crystals and a few drops of eucalyptus. It's no my go to pre shave oil very nice indeed only need a few drops
