After some late night browsing I stumbled on this:

Made me chuckle when she mentions a power-drill being used for around 12-13 minutes in its entire lifetime.

It made me think about my recent coticule hone purchase... :lol:
 
Interesting video. I often wonder if I should study Economics as I feel I've a little knowledge which of course is almost certainly a bad thing. Nonetheless, the first thought that sprung to mind about Colaborative Consumption was that if more sharing is taking place there will be less actual products sold so prices will go up. This will kind of spoil the whole idea of saving money, which is really what this kind of sharing is about. Perhaps I'm too cynical but I don't think CC will save humankind from its problems.
