...The Insurgence of Modern SEs Coupled with the Populist Trend Towards Stainless Steel May have Signed the Death Warrant in the General Interest On Vintage SEs & that Includes Injectors..

My G8 and E3 are permanent fixtures...I did have quite a few at one point and early this year I had a good clear out because there was only a couple of my old injectors that was getting used, my Schick E2 which I think was the best of my Schick injectors and I still have it and my Pal adjustable injector which is another I will never sell.
The clear out was nothing to do with any AC razor craze, I only have two, the brass and Stainless General's from Colonial Razors, my other injector's, the two Supply injector's may have had something to do with my clear out, my but I think I've kept the best of what I had. P
Read the Thread on Schick Proline B-20 AC blades, which are v.good and work well in an Injector. My E3 is a regular in my rotation ever since I got it earlier this year. I sometimes think that if I'd discovered injectors before DEs, I might never have bought a DE. I also have an E2 and an I that I picked up on a recent visit to the US. I think the I might be a bit mild, though.
I have a Razorock Hawk but find the blades too wide and the whole thing a bit unwieldy, so that doesn't see much use.
A propos, where is a good place to source the Chick blades in/from the UK? I use the Gem/Personnas and they're fine, but the cartridges regularly malfunction. I hear good things about the Chinese-made Schicks, but they seem very pricey here.
My E2 has more bite than any other Schick injector I had and I had a few, it's the reason why I kept the E2 and moved the rest on. I used my E2 with a proline this morning and it has improved the feel of the shave no end. A very good match. P.Read the Thread on Schick Proline B-20 AC blades, which are v.good and work well in an Injector.

The white plastic part of the Gem/Personna cartridge tends to come apart in my hands. Keep the cartridges though, then follow the advice from @mpf9ret viz. the Prolines. Available reasonably cheaply from Japan, or from Connaught in Suffolk. I prefer them to the Chinese Schick blades. My E3 is a regular in my rotation ever since I got it earlier this year. Thanks for the tips. Probably a stupid question...the Prolines come without a key for the Injector, so how do you get the blade into the razor? My G8 and E3 are permanent fixtures...

Load the blades into a cassette with a key, works best if there is at least one blade in the cassette. Thanks for the tips. Probably a stupid question...the Prolines come without a key for the Injector, so how do you get the blade into the razor?
Yup...what @Blademonkey said. I use a paper clip or Kirby grip to push down on the spring loaded tray of the cartridge that holds the existing blade(s) and very carefully insert the Prolines on top of them. I only put one in at a time, when I'm ready use it.Thanks for the tips. Probably a stupid question...the Prolines come without a key for the Injector, so how do you get the blade into the razor?
Injectorship trajectory...... nice one P.Yup...what @Blademonkey said. I use a paper clip or Kirby grip to push down on the spring loaded tray of the cartridge that holds the existing blade(s) and very carefully insert the Prolines on top of them. I only put one in at a time, when I'm ready use it.
Once in, release the Kirby grip and ensure that the inserted blades line up in the same position (i.e. holes match up) with those already in.
That's why it's a good idea to ensure that at least one blade is still left in the dispenser; ensuring the new ones follow the same injectorship trajectory.
