Could you let me know how you get on with the shim. B.
Right, tried the shim. I think it did make a little bit difference, but tbh not a great deal.
I'm going to stick with it because it'll be my technique as much as anything.
How about a simple blade selection pack? Give you a chance to experience an array of different brands, without the outlay of new razor. May find one that helps you get a closer, efficient or smoother shave. Loads online. When I started, I bought this one.

I guess so. You have a relatively mild razor, so you may not find the blades overly aggressive. I prefer the term efficient. Smooth & efficient shave without any razor burn. Great idea trying loads of different blades. Have fun. You'll find one that works for you. This is the way to go you will feel different levels of aggressiveness of different brands of blades. Blades are a very personal thing, what suits me may not suit you. A bit of trial and error but I'm sure you will find blades that suits you. b.
The one from China? It hasn't landed yet!So how did you like the new razor ?
Been mooching around for something different, and found this. Loads of info on Ikon razors - this one seems to be off the radar as one of the cheaper versions? Like the concept.
I'm not 100% sure it's genuine. But not an expert. They don't seem too sure what the head is made from as they describe it as 100% Stainless Steel & yet they also describe it as zinc alloy, chrome plated.
Is the head even an Ikon ?
