I'll give them a try, in the meanwhile I have ordered the Saponificio bowl in the picture. Expensive but good looking and I hope an efficient latherer.
In the description it does not state the material the bowl is made of.

A mint 1902-1904 Gillette DE blade. It was an impulsive purchase and very impracticable I know, but I'm a hard core vintage guy I think it's neat to have one of the first Gillette DE blades produced. I just can't put this one under my pillow like I do with my Double Ring.
