Just finished Dave Gorman, too much information. I do like Dave, but towards the end it was more of a personal rant. But still enjoyable.
Tried Mark Urban, Task Force Black, but just couldn't understand why I wasn't enjoying it, then realised its because its a war story told by a journalist. Nothing wrong with that, but all the other soldiering books I enjoyed were all written by the soldiers. So I gave up.
Now onto David Blakeley, Pathfinders. So far, very good. Really getting into the feel of the guy and his take on the Gulf War. For those that don't know, the Pathfinders are on a level with the SAS / SBS but have a slightly different role 'in theatre'.
