Used the "aggressive" side of the Zeppelin today.
Just as comfortable as the "mild" side - a little bit more effective, I think (will notice tomorrow morning).

This shave finished off my tub of Haslinger Schafmilch (Tallow). Thankfully some strategic reserves remain. The Schafmilch went out with a bang rather than a whimper, delivering a landslide of lubricious lather!
To honour this wonderful soap, I went the full three passes and clean-up buffs for a BBS result.
Wonderful post shave as always with the tallow Haslinger soaps, and I'm now smelling great thanks to the APR's stunning fougère fragrance Coeur de Vert.

I finally have got my formerly NOS Personna to work, having the past tried it and failed. The Solution was incredibly simple, I used a Personna blade !!. Quite odd really as I never had a lot of success with it so had reverted to Schick Blades.
Today I had a second outing with it to prove it was not a fluke, and though not as smooth and forgiving as the S/S PAL
it still removed all growth efficiently. I managed to get an ultra close finish, but had to adopt a light touch when doing polishing up work. I am very pleased that finally I have mastered this Razor, otherwise I would have opened up an NOS pack for no good reason.

2 passes and a touch up for a really really good shave
back to the beginning with hardware today - dug out the EJ89 which I haven't used for years and the bodger 404 brush - both my first acquisitions of each. I never really enjoyed the EJ - always ended up with spots on my chin the next day so the head got thrown into a draw and the handle added to a 1973 tech. anyway, bloody good shave today. probably helped that im on the 1912 but I've been faceturbating like a newb today
