A lady always needs to pack more than required..It's pointless to differ. Thanks B,just waiting on the wife to finish packing then we're off.
You would think we were going for a fortnight, the amount of stuff she's taking
Wednesday 25th July Noon
6th DE shave
Prep: Shower, Nivea Facial Wash then Nuage shave oil
Cream: TOBS Jermyn Street (very kindly provided by @Blackmass)
Brush: ES Medium Jock synthetic
Razor: Merkur 34c
Blade: Gillette 7 O'clock (@Blackmass again [emoji1303])
Post: Warm rinse, cold rinse, Nivea Sensitive Post Shave balm and Next Signature Nuit EDT
My face has recovered following the weekend after what felt like I'd been dooking for chips.
Firstly, I'd like to thanks @Blackmass for his kind gift of trial blades and samples of cream and soap which arrived today (the envelope never had time to hit the ground behind my letterbox).
Totally ignoring what I said in a previous post, I changed a few things. The TOBS Jermyn Street cream was sublime. Really smooth glide and a joy to use. The scent is subtle and great too.
I also changed from a Personna blade to Gillette 7 O'clock and the change was noticeable straight away. The 1st WTG pass was effortless and really comfortable. The 2nd XTG and final ATG just as good.
This has been my most enjoyable and comfortable shave yet. It shows how important it is to try new things out and more importantly, listen to advice!
I cannot thank everyone enough for all the advice I've received so far, in particular @Blackmass. Thank you!
Here's to many great shaves like this one....
Have a great day everyone! [emoji1360]
