Some great stuff in this thread! Getting me hooked before I've started
Will do, I'll wait for my new pen to arrive if that all good.
Thats what I am hoping for, transform my hand writing haMy penmanship as can be seen in some posts is far, far from good BUT one thing that surprises me is how better it gets when using a fountain pen. Can't quite explain why. Odd that one.
I think it's because less pressure is required when using a fountain pen, compared to most other writing instruments, resulting in a more fluid motion. I also find my handwriting is noticeably better when using a fountain pen.My penmanship as can be seen in some posts is far, far from good BUT one thing that surprises me is how better it gets when using a fountain pen. Looks very black
Looks very black
Definately the one I will go with and order a bottle on Monday.
Then I'll have to pop a pic up in here. I've only had time to scribbly with the Lamy so far.
Looks great, cant wait to try it for myself. It is indeed black-black.
Note that the above was written with an Extra Fine nib so that makes it look a little bit less saturated due to the thin lines.
With wider nib it will come across as even more 'deep black'.
I also like it as it dries pretty quickly.
Pretty black:
Just having a scribble, this is a much as Im showing so far of my shoddy writing ha. Only a line as I cant risk my wrist from giving up so far into a sentance
This is using my Lamy Safari with the blue cartridge included. The paper seems a touch thirsty, not sure what grade it is.
The lightings not great but I couldn't be arsed to get up.
The top section with 2mm nib is the Waterman's ink. Lamy Al-Star burgundy at the bottom.
Just noticed you wrote what I did,.
