This,....is the correct answer.Don't often get fatboy queries anymore do we Mart?
Tempting as it is the razor doesn't need to be adjusted between passes. Pick one setting and stick to it or until you've got used to the thing.

It took a while,...but you got there in the end.I suppose it would be a YMMV but alot of people seem to adjust for different passes, maybe I'm doing it wrong and should stick to one setting opening up the exposure for say a few days growth and stick to one setting for daily use, I did a 2 pass with 4 followed by 3 and got a better shave than before on a 6 followed by 5, but I will definitely take all comments on board and stick to one setting whilst sticking with the same blade.
Is that good or badIt took a while,...but you got there in the end.
If I have to explain,..you wouldn't understand. Is that good or bad
Are you equally meticulous with your preparation and lather? Good lather is vital for a good shave as is technique. Personally I stick with a single setting on the adjustable razors and concentrate on keeping the best angle which can vary with each razor. You need to use the Fatboy a bit more before drawing conclusions.I am meticulous with my angle but as I am new to this razor it probably isn't perfect.
My Lather yes and my prep I would say yes but it could be better, the only issue I have with razor angle is I find it hard to maintain the correct angle on and under my chin. Are you equally meticulous with your preparation and lather? You and me both. It is the hardest area to get a consistent angle. Whilst I generally shave with a shallow angle, I often go a little steeper in that area because you get more blade engagement that way.the only issue I have with razor angle is I find it hard to maintain the correct angle on and under my chin.
