Why do I find AC blades uncomfortable?

Excellent. I best get another order in! I really do find them super smooth. I barely feel a thing, unlike the hairs plucked by tweezers feeling I get with the FACs.

I hope he/she doesn't put the price up now they're getting popular. I think they were selling for £10 before Christmas. £14.50 is still in line with what you'd pay for FAC blades.
I must admit I get on well with feather blades, once the initial bite when they are new has gone.
I'm keen to try these once they've been restocked, if they are as smooth from new as people are saying could be onto a winner.

I look forward to trying them when my recent order arrives.

The price did go up, but from £10 + £2.50 postage to £14.50 incl. postage. Hopefully they'll stay at the last listed price when his next batch comes in.

Tried the Proline in the El Jefe. Looks like I can now use this razor again, as yes you've guessed it, it now feels smooth. I did start out with the Hawk and while it also felt smooth with the Proline I again realised just how useless this razor is for me. In terms of mildness and inefficiency it reminds me of the Feather Popular DE. So it got around ten seconds on my face before I gave up with it. It just doesn't get close enough. The El Jefe is a different proposition altogether. It will eat you face if you're not careful! Excellent razor.

The only reservation I have about these Proline blades is I think the longevity may not be very good, which will make them very expensive. I got two shaves out of my first one before it felt blunt. The same as a DE blade for me.

Your stubbles must be very hard. I get 10 to 12 shave out of a proline...

Perhaps inefficient is the wrong word but I've always had a problem with milder razors. They just don't work at all well for me. It must be a combination of my facial hair and skin. So I tend to gravitate towards more aggressive razors out of necessity.

I never found the Feather Popular inefficient. What I did find is that it requires a refined technique with a top tier blade to get a great shave with one.
