Which adjustable DE?

I like the Progress and it gives me a good shave with a variety of blades. Rough and raw suggests a blade problem. However I note the Parker Variant seems to be getting good reviews.
Whether you use progressive settings, regressive settings or a fixed setting is a matter of subjective views. There is no correct answer. I use a fixed setting.
I use it with my trusted blade, the feather and polsilver which in other razors I get great results.

I'm fortunate enough to own a FatBoy, a Slim Adjustable, and a Merkur Digress. To be honest, if they were all stuffed in a drawer, and as long as I could access my FaTip Piccolo, I wouldn't miss them one little bit...

I have the grande and I find it a bit on the aggressive side for me. Maybe I should have bought the piccolo instead, but as far as no adjustable DE's are concerned, I'm pretty well covered.

I've had a Piccolo, and it was the worst razor I ever had... aggressive like nothing else, and I mean that in every way possible. Not smooth.. AT ALL. Unpleasant to use and what not. And yes, the blade was aligned.. :(

Piccolo has the same head as Grande, the difference is in the handle only.
I didn't own many adjustables but if I had to pick one, it would be the Razor Emporium or Rockwell T. As you said, there aren't many reviews about those but I expect them to be decent enough razors.
What I could recommend you is the Gillette Super Adjustable aka Black Beauty. It's cheap, easily available and, surprisingly, provides decent shaves. I don't like Gillette TTO's, but the Black Beauty is really good.

Kypro, I understand your dilemma, but not your reason.
You have a Fatboy which gives you a great shave, as does mine,..why don't you replicate the scientist's recommendations with the Fatboy?....makes sense to me.
If you put twelve shaving forum members in a room and ask them your question, you'll get sixteen different opinions.
I have no problem with RAD,..I have, on occasion, been on the verge of pulling the trigger on the superb examples of the modern razor maker's art.
I bought a Fatboy and subsequently, a Slim,...I no longer hanker for the latest bling, they CAN'T give me a better shave than those classic Gillettes.
Choosing a razor is very subjective and unless you can try before you buy, it can also be very expensive,...there is a reason why the BST sections of shaving forums are the most visited.
The only question to ask is of yourself,..."Do I want a lovely, shiny, new, modern razor,..or do I want a great shave, which I can get from my current razors?"

PS,...I'd go for the bling (cough)
