What made your day a good one

I know the one, a small replica suitable for hobbits and dwarves. Donated by a German company, I believe.

Where would we be without our European neighbours (and their money)?

Regards,
Chris

One from yesterday is getting my sons glowing school report. 100% attendance, fantastic comments from his teachers and some very promising predictions for next year :)

For today, finishing painting his bedroom. It now looks MUCH better.

Well done, what a way to round off a school year. Makes your heart sing.

And well done to you for the decorating chore.

Regards,
Chris

Getting these ten tonnes(!) of levelling compound from the tanker to the floors of my new house. Except for bathroom (17 cm at the thickest), the thickest layer was 5cm, thinnest 0.5cm. And that was not many metres apart!

Fencing.

Fencing Tuesday.

Despite the heat (shy of 30 degrees outside), three layers of kevlar and a foil jacket on top, it was a blast! Great fun indeed! There was something in the air at the club tonight - we all played really well and there was a big jump forward, both individual gains and as a club.
