What made your day a crap one??

After 4 hours investigation, my garage told me that to replace the hoses leading to the AC condenser in my bulletproof ageing Passat will be around 600 notes. I paid him for his time and will drive with the Window open , autumn is around the corner I tell myself. [emoji16] At 300k miles I keep her happy on essentialls .

Had the same problem with mine.
Except the drivers window didn't open either.

Not my problem anymore. Traded it for an A4.

Got the results of a job application, negative... Ok, so is life.
But, the HR sent a second identical email in less than 5 min. Message received the very first time, I suspect they enjoy rubbing salt in the wound.

All day in xray, was only ment to have 2 ended up having 6 now have to wait till friday for results. Xray man told me to go back to docs and ask for pain killers, better than perscribed ones. Opointment 8am tomoz.

Prolapsed discs don't show up on Xrays, you need a MRI scan ignore your back at your peril, I know I've been there prolapse disc will change you life forever, about 4 years ago aged 54 I went from being a really fit active person to being unable to wash bath or even dress myself for two months because I prolapsed two discs L3 & L4, and pain killers don't touch nerve damage good luck.

Are prolapsed discs related to spinal disc herniation?

Job search. So far mine has resulted in a "Post Card" saying that the applications were past on to the appropriate departments. Think I would have liked an Email better[emoji33]

I've been there too, but mine is L4 & L5. It started about 12 years ago and got to the point where I couldn't lie in a bed or sit down; I had to sleep on the floor with the dog. I was given pain killers, a muscle relaxant and anti-inflammatory, but I stopped taking them, with my GP's consent, after two months because I felt totally whacked out all the time. Both a chiropractor and acupuncturist did nothing for me. Finally went to a sports physiotherapist who got me going again, but it took sessions twice a week for two years before I felt total relief. Interestingly, I had no pain when I walked or stood up. To this day I have numbness in the balls of my feet and big toes, due to nerve damage, and experience sciatica from time to time, which is exacerbated if I lie in bed too long. For several years now I've been working out with a trainer three times a week, which has helped me a great deal. What annoys me the most about all this, beside the pain, is that it wasn't caused by a sports' injury or accident, but by sitting behind a desk for 36 years; just a slow degeneration of my lower spine. Pain such as this can be all consuming and life destroying if not treated properly and drugs won't do it.

Mri scans have been requested but it looks like athritis all over the spine, there talking about cortisone injections, not sure if i like the idea of somebody around my spine with a needle.
Oh well 3 weeks in turkey, Umzula, just outside fethiye so hopefully relaxing will help

A great achieving day decorating, followed by a lovely walk around West Kirby marine lake, a gorgeous bag of chips and then shit on by a bloody hoard of hungry seagulls resulting in being lathered in bird crap. Not happy, not good
