What is the difference between Diet Coke and Coke Zero??

There's quite a few studies on fructose and NAFLD none of them, that I have seen, seem conclusive as yet. Though as a theory it makes perfect sense.
The bubble thing has me curious I mean how would the bubbles get through the intestinal lining.

@PhilD Yes and formaldehyde but not nearly as much as a banana does and tomato juice releases 6 or 7 times as much

Question - Apart from water, is there any such thing as a cold, tasty and refreshing drink one can consume in significant amounts that won't kill them? I have to admit to finding plain water boring.

I'm a full sugar Coca-Cola addict, total and utter whore for the stuff. Tried hard many times to pack it in, but it always lures me back in. Off it at the moment, but it looks like my "Sparkling Lemon & Lime Irish Spring Water Drink" replacement is going to kill me at any rate.

Hey, that's my tipple too - no sugar, zero calories, great taste - god, I sound like a bloomin' advert now LOL

It's more likely to have at least some grounding in reality (peer-reviewed papers) unlike Joe Random on the internet or Deepak Chopra and his ilk... although such information is rarely 100% bombproof.

Yeah like banning ecigs on hospital grounds or claiming dope cause Paranoid Schizophrenia. I'm not saying everything they print is guff but they're guilty of following Political agendas way to often.

A hospital trust has lifted a ban on the use of e-cigarettes in its grounds.

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, which runs Queen Medical Centre and City Hospital, is one of the first trusts in England to allow restricted use of the devices.

It said it had reversed its ban in light of evidence they are less dangerous than smoking tobacco.
