What gives a better post shave than Haslinger?

Hello All! Thanks for the responses! I've got a Haslinger's seaweed to try once the sheep one is finished. Will look at getting a wool fat, and a Palmolive stick too.

Did you try Proraso white? For me, its post shave feel is as good as Haslinger's, maybe even better. I had to get used to its scent though.

As for the Proraso white, that's the one I started with. I didn't think it was that good really, still had a tight and uncomfortable feel to it that I don't seem to get with the Haslinger Sheep

When you stop and really think about it, it is rather stupid to buy a shave soap just for post shave feel just as buying one solely for its scent. You should be buying it for the quality of the actual shave first with scent and then post shave feel lagging behind. As well, there is a veritable cornucopia of after shave lotions/balms that can mimic the best post shave 'feel' of any shave soap. Perhaps I am one of of the few who actually washes his face after shaving(?) o_O
