What are you waiting on to arrive?

Some I Coloniali shaving cream is coming from Connaught. I've never used it. I'll probably pair it with some of my vintage shaving soaps that have lost their fragrance, to make superlather.

My original-style Rooney Alibaba in antique ivory turned by Brad Sears and knotted with a 3-band super badger by Lee Sabini. According to the Canada Post tracker it entered Canada yesterday and is now with Canada Customs in Ville St Laurent, Quebec. It could arrive this week...I hope.

And here it is. Much to my surprise it was delivered yesterday afternoon. I prepped it last night and took it for its maiden spin this morning. And what a delight it is: soft tips and a cloud-like face feel with good backbone and flow through as it's not too dense. It easily matches my shavemac and Thater 3-bands in terms of performance and overall quality. The knot measures 22-23 X 48 and the handle is 56 high. Absolutely in my sweet spot by all measures. Hats off to Brad Sears and Lee Sabini.

Hiya,

Man it's been years since last buying any new frag samples but that monkey has returned, having never really left it's place on my back. Just kinda stopped jabbering for a while.....sigh.

Couple days ago I ran across some site I can't believe I had never seen before in all these years and it seems good so far. Plenty of well known frag makers from low to high end range with what looks to be very reasonable prices on most things. It's a US based place called Notino that won't ship to Limeys though, sad to say.

Anyway my order of various samples is just now being made up and added to as things move along. Sheesh, it never does seem to end,

Martin
