Yes no problem @Blademonkey , after reading the forums on the other side of the pond I already feel that it is going to be way too mild , never seen or heard a good report about the shave this razor delivers , far too mild apparently .
The only question on my mind , even before I have taken delivery is do I take up Stans offer of a replacement more aggressive baseplate or just return the razor ?

I wasn't aware it was available with different baseplates. What are the options?
 
I find this so quite amusing I could not resist to order.
Main reason, I found a very cheap source here in Germany. This is a Polish brand by La Rive.

Thank you, I like STTG didn't know about different base plates, that's good to know that it can be made more aggressive if need be.

@Shave to the grave @Blademonkey it isn't , it is such a poor shave , extremely mild with the original baseplate that to rectify the problem (flaw). Stan at ATT has agreed to hake a new more agressive baseplate FOC to correct the problem .
We have the option of returning the razor or hanging on for the new aggressive plate .
Top man Stan , trying to rectify the problem .

It's a great looking razor, I'm sure you'll get it sorted. Will it still be arriving?

So pleased I went for the Blackland now, although if the ATT had been any good I would have been tempted to get that also, keep us informed as to developments, much appreciated , P.

Yes , should be here next week , I may end up keeping it and end up with 2 baseplates as I don't think Stan will have a use for the original plate . He has admitted that he has probably "overtweaked" the design of the plate .Probably good to have the mild plate for those days when you want to be presentable , but , don't want to go too close , but, then again he may want it back .

I have the Blackland , I need something a little more aggressive though , I did 3 passes with it yesterday morning then a 4th pass with the 6S on the 5 plate with a Gillette Black in it for a BBS .
That was a great shave , needed the 6S to finish it though .

No you haven't wasted your money. They are good creams, you will find the green one to be very refreshing and cooling and great for warm season. Red is a great performer and the scent is wonderful. I didn't like the Blue because of the scent but performance is good. Green and Red aftershave lotions and pre-post creams are very nice as well.
