I believe it's a cologne type scent Wayne,would that be correct?
Never tried Stirling before,yeah I don't think i've seen a bad review of them.
Really looking forward to them.

I haven't had it before Finton so I cannot comment on the scent. The other two Stirling soaps I own Barbershop and Margaritas in the Arctic are both cracking soaps. They lather well are slick and produce a great cushion lather. Make sure you load the brush well. I do not bloom my Stirlings I don't think it needs it. I'm sure you'll like yours when it arrives.

Oh right sorry your waiting on it too then,I probably always use a wee bit too much soap when i load up.I've been using a lot of OSP and P&B recently without blooming them,so hopefully on a par with them.

I thought with all the stuff you guys buy from the US it's only fair we over here sometimes favour UK made products.
In this case it was a pretty easy decision though as it was my first pick regardless of origin

I have some Acqua di Parma Colonia Body Cream coming. I'm going to try it as an aftershave balm. I love the Colonia fragrance, and I have the shaving cream, but my skin has not tolerated the matching aftershave lotion or balm in the past. I'm crossing my fingers that I'll do OK with this body cream on my face. If not, oh well, I'll use it as a deodorant cream.

yesterday I received the chrome Hawk, El-Jefe 2XMR5 handles, SE blades, alum block,Aloy-vera shaving soap, Semogue boar brush, silvertip knot from China.

Geo. F. Trumper's Eucris EdT. 100ml.

I got a bath and shower gel sample chucked in with my Highland Bothy shave soap. It has a really old-fashioned, almost Gothic, scent; so I'm hoping the EdT is similar.

Judging by the reviews, it's heavy on oakmoss; which surprises me, given the regulations on reducing this component in fragrances; and the concomitant 'reformulations' (Guerlain's Mouchior de Monsieur and Jicky, for instance).
