What are you listening to?

Yes he was a nice guy indeed, strange you couldn't find it on tinterweb, give radio Cornwall a call and speak to Lazza he will tell you all about it, he is on air till three.
Yea I've just phoned radio Cornwall and although couldn't get through to lazza as he is on air everyone there seems to be in agreement about the award but not sure when , could have been last years awards , but anyway regardless of not being able just yet to find the exact award name or date just yet it's still a cracking radio station, imo.

More info on the radio Cornwall award, it was Lauence's lunchtime show that won the Gillards radio awards last year , he won the gold award in the prestigious awards ceremony. The lunchtime show was declared the best daytime programme on BBC local radio anywhere in the country . His programme was up against more than 20 other daytime programmes entered by BBC local stations. Thursday 8th October 2015.
He received silver and bronze awards in previous years.
So not quite the best local radio station in the land but the best lunchtime show anywhere in the land!
I apologise for my slightly inaccurate reporting of this prestigious award.

I was but a few months old when the May '68 revolution occurred and the police cut the power to a Soft Machine gig... Yet that counterculture which the band was was a significant aspect of my late teens.
... In memory of Yoni aka Gilli Smyth, who passed away yesterday, I've largely been listening to early Gong.
...
and, whilst poignant, this feels anarchically fitting
